I loved everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the food even better! I had oysters the were so fresh and delicious. Then I had their seafood pasta special, it was so delicious! Loaded with scallops, shrimp and calamari, sun dried tomatoes in a pink sauce and pasta. My husband had the fried calamari and a veal dish, also top notch. We then shared a Tiramisu, it was light and not overly sweet, soooo good. Our waitress was as sweet as could be. Had plenty of leftover for tomorrow and a nice walk on the boardwalk to walk it off! Definitely will be going back!

Absolutely incredible, the food was spectacular. Love sitting outside and hearing live music. The service was great and very fast. The owner is awesome too. Highly recommend. This is a great summer spot, especially if you want to sit outside. The inside has a great local bars as well. Overall, one of the best restaurants I've been to New Jersey.

Food was great! I had classic shrimp parm. Waiter Matt was very helpful and nice. Owner even came over and chatted with us. Menu has so much to pick from. And great martini list! Also they have a wonderful early menu and drinks before 5pm.

Went Back to Fratellos! Saturday 6pm . Reserved a high top. Place was packed and happening. Totally different than my first time here. Everything, and I mean everything was awesome. Food , drinks, service. All great on this busy st Patrick's day weekend. Had the lasagna and meatballs. The best. Did a comparison of all the lasagnas I've had all over the shore area and this is clearly the best. The bread is even great, warm, crunchy. Wife had linguine with clams and said it was great, better than other places she has had it. You could smell it from 3 feet away. Great blend of flavors and they use the tiny clams that are better tasting and softer. Limoncello martini was awesome and strong and bonus, this time they fill the glass to overflowing and pour the remainder of the shaker in a separate glass, bonus!! Fratellos made me a believer and we are hoping to make this a regular place in the future.

Was surprised to see this place had only 3.5 stars. Dont trust the haters. We had wonderful service and I thought the food was great! I loved the bolognese. and the chicken parm was an absolute BEAST. Would definitely recommend this place if your visiting or if you live near by and havent tried yet.

Fratello's is a little gem just outside the gate from New Jersey National Guard's Sea Girt training post and beach. It's the perfect summertime spot for alfresco dining. Hostess seated me without a reservation, and the outdoor dining area was busy close to the summer sunset on a Monday night. Recommend the escarole sautéed with red wine vinegar, garlic, red bell pepper strips, and capers. Rare that I find this item, and moreover well prepared, however this is a true Italian style side, suitable for sharing. Caesar Salad is fresh, well prepared. Ask for fresh cracked pepper! My server tried to mill the pepper with some difficulty. Finally she left the pepper mill at the table, which required only an adjustment to the screw for the pepper to flow nicely. Tonight I had crab stuffed scallops in a delicately seasoned cream sauce, with a potato croquette. Definitely will return to Fratello's on another trip to the beach.
